OCTOSTOP® Gentle Slope® Filter is ideal for X-rays of the hands, wrists, and feet, which are not uniform in density, making them difficult to X-ray in a single radiograph. At twice the density of muscle, this filter evens out the density, which would otherwise be highly over- or under-penetrated. The result is increased detail for more accurate diagnoses with fewer exposures.
