Drive Medical Med-Aire Plus 8" Alternating Pressure and Low Air-Loss Mattress System provides both alternating pressure and low air loss to optimize pressure redistribution, shear/skin reduction, and microclimate control. Helps prevent, treat, and manage pressure injuries in both long-term care and acute-care settings. Digital control unit offers four cycle times and adjustable comfort weight settings with pillow function for optimal immersion and head stability and comfort. The digital pump automatically returns to alternating pressure if the system is left on static mode for more than two hours. Three diagnostic audio and visual alarms alert for issues with air pressure, the system, or power. Cell-on-cell design won't "bottom out" and provides up to 24 hours of power-outage protection. Each of the 20 individual 8"D air cells can be easily removed and replaced. Removable four-way stretch polyurethane cover is fluid-resistant, low shear, and vapor-permeable to protect skin from friction and moisture. CPR valve allows for rapid deflation.
