AliMed® InvisiCoat® 35º/55º and 45º Wedges Double-Angle 35º/55º Wedges are two positioners in one for supporting the lumbar spine, ribs and obliques. Place under the rib cage to twist upper torso. 45º Wedges provide the proper angle for cervical and spine imaging, as well as AP oblique pelvis projection and other lateral, lower body positioning.
35º/55º Wedge is available in 14"L and 24"L
45º Wedge is available in 24"L and 30"L
Caution: Procedures at less than 60vKp may produce slightly visible lines on edges of positioners. Always position the patient so the edge of the block will not be in the image field of concern. When tested at low attenuation of 80kVp, results indicate an aluminum equivalency of 1%.
InvisiCoat’s seamless construction features unique curved edges that reduce artifacts associated with straight-sided positioning. All positioners are coated with a durable, radiolucent finish that's impervious to fluids and embedded with antimicrobial silver for greater infection control. Recommended for use in the O.R., Imaging, MRI, and radiology.
