AliMed® Gel Bean Bag Positioner with Cutout offers a space for extremities to lie in a more natural position. Also features a layer of gel for added patient comfort and shear protection. Free Float technology allows gel layer to move independently from rigid bean bag layer. Positioners use vacuum suction to conform small, loosely packed beads to the patient’s body, creating solid foundational support for safe, stable positioning. Lightweight and easy to position. AliMed’s urethane material works together with the beads for the right flexibility, precise shaping, and maximum conformity. Stain-resistant, easy to clean, and nonporous. All styles require Bean Bag Valve (sold separately) and in-wall vacuum unit (not included) to apply suction—see How To Use instructions below. Not made with natural rubber latex.
How To Use:
- Form the loose Bean Bag around the patient in the desired position.
- Connect the Bean Bag Valve to your in-wall vacuum unit and apply suction to lock the Bean Bag in place.
- Unseal the vacuum valve to let air in and allow the beads move freely again.
