AliMed® Gunslinger™ Shoulder Orthosis evolved from two years of development and trials at a major Boston teaching hospital. This orthosis can be quickly adjusted to any combination of abduction, flexion, and rotation, each of which is independently adjustable.
Unique contralateral suspension is comfortable and secure, resisting displacement while allowing a broad range of independent patient activities. Wide-sculpted shoulder strap is comfortable for long-term wear.
Forearm and hand rest in a carefully contoured splint with padded straps to ensure comfort and compliance. 10" connecting post of PVC plastic. Cut to desired length.
Indications: Any condition of the shoulder girdle area requiring immobilization of the arm in a fixed relationship to the torso: shoulder fusion, bone graft, fractures, post-op soft tissue repairs, shoulder reconstruction, bracheal plexus injury.
