The contour is designed to disperse the user’s body weight over an increased surface area, reducing seated pressure and increasing comfort. The foot-activated seat-height adjustment (7" height range) is ideal for microsurgery, where the surgeon’s hands cannot be used to make adjustments to the chair during surgery.
