AliMed® Protecta-Coat™ Egg Crate Waterproof Ulnar Pad features convoluted foam that promotes air circulation and minimizes moisture buildup. Place under arm to protect ulnar nerve or under knees when patient is in prone position. Use for supine, lateral, prone, lithotomy, Fowler's, and Trendelenburg positions.

Caution: Procedures at less than 60 kVp may produce slightly visible lines on edges of Protecta-Coat Positioners. Always position the patient so the edge of the block will not be in the image field of concern. When tested at low attenuation of 80 kVp, results indicate an aluminum equivalency of 1%.
AliMed® Protecta-Coat™ Positioners feature a protective vinyl coating that is seamless, impervious to fluids, and embedded with ionic silver. Recommended for use in O.R., MRI, and radiology. The protective vinyl coating offers long-lasting durability and is radiolucent above 60 kVp.
