Complex Challenges for Comprehension Susan Howell Brubaker, Carolyn Doty, and Lisa Mammoser This unique collection of mid- to high-level reading tasks targets functional reading, deductive reasoning, sequencing, and following directions for clients with reading and auditory comprehension challenges. Reading tasks can be easily adapted to listening tasks; pages with an ear icon are appropriate for auditory stimulation. Includes 40 one-, two-, and three-page comprehension tasks in easy-to-read format with task directions and space for answers. After reading the directions, client identifies the strategies that would be most helpful for the task, and then completes the task. All tasks can be completed multiple times while measuring and evaluating outcomes. User log and answer key provided.
